Kneecap, Wet Leg, and Underworld headline a diverse Green Man 2025 lineup, showcasing a wealth of Welsh talent alongside international stars.
Green Man Festival, which sold out within a record-breaking 60 minutes back in September, has unveiled its highly anticipated 2025 lineup. The festival, set to take place here in Wales, in Bannau Brycheiniog National Park from August 14-17, will feature a diverse array of artists, headlined by Kneecap, Wet Leg, Underworld, TV On The Radio, and Beth Gibbons.
Kneecap, the Belfast rap trio and recent cover stars of For Your Consideration, will headline the Far Out Stage on Thursday. They will bring their signature blend of English and Irish rap to the festival. Their energetic performance follows a well-received screening of their BAFTA award-winning film at the 2024 event. We recently caught up with Kneecap at their film premiere in Cardiff, where they talked about their love for Wales and how it inspired their own Irish language festival. Global acts like Wet Leg, Underworld, TV On The Radio, and Beth Gibbons will complete the headline slots. Underworld, featuring Welsh native Rick Smith, will deliver a set that blends classic hits with new material from their 2024 album. Meanwhile, Green Man continues its commitment to showcasing Welsh talent, with performances from Gwenno, Los Campesinos!, Tristwch Y Fenywod, Pys Melin, and Melin Melyn. The lineup also features a number of acts that For Your Consideration has consistently supported. English Teacher, fresh from their Mercury Prize win, will return to the festival, and CMAT is set to perform her country-tinged pop.
Beyond the music, Green Man offers a comprehensive festival experience, including science, arts, and wellness areas. The festival's independent ethos and commitment to showcasing Welsh food and beverage producers remain key features.
