We started FYC over a decade ago. Starting life as the Northampton music blog The Perfect Tempo back in 2016. We were an online tastemaker that frequently reviewed the latest records, gigs, festivals and sought out the most exciting new talent.

That hasn’t changed. A lot has though.

We’re now For Your Consideration, based out of Cardiff and Manchester, and we’ve evolved into a fully fledged print publication. Our covers have been adorned by artists such as Foals, Self Esteem, Kneecap and Laura Marling. Inside those pages, we’ve also spoken with genre pioneers such as Khurangbin, Holly Humberstone and Zedd.

Our mantra and love of the grassroots remains strong, and we will also strive to be the place where you find your next headliner. In recent years, we’ve been in those rooms with less than 50 people, photographing early gigs by acts such as The Last Dinner Party and English Teacher.
